Strong through the core and not afraid to get it on the inside. Decent tackling technique too. I think it might be a little premature to say he is just a pure outside type.

Jy Simpkin might be a decent comparison.

@THE_DON1 at this stage do you have a view on where he is likely to fit into next years draft rankings? Do you think we could look at trading next year’s second rounder for a second rounder this year (assuming next year’s second round will get eaten up by bids on the Davey boys)? If we did, would we still be able to trade next year’s first in next year’s trade period if someone like BKing is up for grabs?

From memory Simpkin was a decent kick as a junior when he was playing HFF/SF

Keep in mind that’s last years game, he was playing as a very bottom aged kid against kids who now play senior footy at various levels, including AFL, he’s developed well this year.

This time last year he was still recovering from an ACL so didn’t play in that game.

He’s fit now and had a really good back end APS season.

He’s very much a run and carry half forward, think Andy Lovett.
