Yer, that cliff.
It’s there somewhere.
Geelong don’t tend to get involved in that stuff…
But the system is farked when they don’t get to use their home ground advantage if/when they earn it…all the non Victorian clubs get that advantage.
Hawks to win the GF and Massimo will be Norm Smith medalist.
Yeah bit like that this year, I’d find it pretty funny if port get up and Kenny gives the club and supporters a big fark you.
I could deal with GWS
It’s the big big sound.
Prefer that BZT wins the Norm Smith medal.
The Orange Men would be the least unpalatable Premier for me.
I don’t know anybody who barracks for them so no gloating to endure.
11-1
Have they said when the games are
The games against Adelaide and Gold Coast that we lost in the last seconds, after being in front and dominating for periods of the game… if we had held on for wins… we sneak in. Incredible really.
Sydney will rediscover their best footy and coast into a grand final.
On the other side its a bit more of a lottery.
Imagine heading into finals on the back of just 2 wins from your last 7 games. One of those wins being an uninspiring 3 goal win against 17th, and the other a 11 goal smashing of 16th who had already checked out for the year. You had sustained numerous injuries to key players along the way, but kept telling yourself that you will be alright when they return for finals.
Meanwhile, you melted time and time again to not only fail to seal a top 4 spot, but failed when you had the chance seal a finals spot all up. You end up needing to rely on another team’s result, for your chance to qualify for an interstate elimination final, which so happens to be against an opponent that has only lost two games since June 1 (both were close).
Sound familiar?
Carlton are going to get a taste of September, proper Essington style.
I’ve got a mate born and bred in western sydney, only got into footy last year barely knew it existed before, now gone full nuffie, travels to practically every interstate game with his mates that he introduced to the game too, to watch the giants. His second favourite team is us, so i hope they win it for the great man.
As long as it’s not
Carlton
Geelong
Bulldogs
Hawks
Brisbane
that win it.
Add Sydney to that list. Can’t stand them for obvious reasons. It’s the Giants or bust for me.
Thursday night
Port v Geelong
Friday Night
Footscray vs Hawthorn
Saturday afternoon
Chickens vs Giants
Saturday night
Brisbane vs FC
It’s a not such a bad top 8.
Collingwood have missed and Carlton’s season is on life support.
GWS are comfortably the most palatable. You’re an imbecile if you’re cheering for anyone else.
