Former #10 Sam Weideman

That was great watching. Johnson is a one-eyed toss pot. it was fun to see Kingy absolutely steamroll him. all he could do was sheepishly mumble while David just pummeled him with the facts.

Blow that up and stick it on Sam’s locker day 1 of training. Get angry big fella!

Got a huge pair of mitts on him. Should make marking the pill easy.

BS needs to toughen this kid right up. Tools? Yep, sweet words upon arrival in media clip yep. I’ve never seen him leap over a tin can. Let’s just see. Pleased to hear he was passable in the ruck for Casey. Not a hope he’ll be a decent defender though, seriously lacks the physicality.

I think he is a dead ringer for British funny man Matthew Baynton.

Basement bargain tall forwards thrived under Scott at North.

Brown, Waite, Petrie.

There was also another guy that did alright but couldn’t be squeezed in, i think his name was Black or something. Also one other guy that was good at North then ended up at the tigers and didn’t fire a shot under dimma, looked Polynesian.

Aaron Edwards?

They were all quality forwards. Waite had heaps of injuries at Fark Carlton, Petrie and Brown were both above average footballers.

Why don’t we just wait and see what he does next year?? Who knows what will happen.

This should be our moto.

Look at the Renaissance Man 2MP. lets hope the Weide emulates him. I fully expect Franga to finally get with the program in Sydney. Both top 10 picks, both under achieved so far.

Yeah they were quality at north. But brown was a low pick, waite never got going at Carlton and Petrie i don’t think was a high pick either.

They would have been quality forwards anywhere is my point.

Disagree. Quality key forwards usually go in the first round, neither Petrie or Brown did, Waite was crap at Carlton. All played well under Scott.

These days I agree, but back in 2000 when Drew was recruited there were far more hits and misses with top 10 selections. There are still misses these days and Ben Brown was one of these because he was seen to be very one dimensional. If you look at Waites stats, they didn’t improve at the Kangaroos, he had a lot of injury issues at Fark Carlton.
