Think his selection is a smart one considering in the past we struggle moving the ball forward with their third man up. Having a genuine third tall means that they may have to rethink that, potentially causing problems in their defence with Henderson not in.

I hope whatever he does tonight gets assessed against reasonable expectations. By that I mean we should not be expecting a 4 goal, 10 mark standout game. He will move around and present, and if he takes a couple of marks inside 50 and has 3 shots on goal, and competes hard at ground level, then that is about what we should hope for from a key forward who is not a “star”. If you look at the modern game, that is about all you should expect from a KP forward playing his role.

Yep really hope he can grab his chance because it was a huge decision really. He wanted opportunity and still came to us when he’d have been playing rd1 for both Pies & Blues
If the 3 talls can work will give us a huge advantage against most sides.
Both JD and Stewart very very athletic for their size so should be fine.
