They need him more but they won’t offer more. They have far bigger priorities than a ruckman and that’s where they will look to splash cash. If he ends up going to Adelaide it would almost definitely be band 2 compo

Fogarty not quite the like for like they were hoping going by his finals performance. Tex still looks likelier.
Their one paced poorly skilled midfield is their biggest weakness. Fix that and the rest will fall into place. Fogarty was pretty poor in the finals but their forward entries in the finals looked a lot like ours.

They should be throwing everything at Merrett he is exactly what they need Adelaide. They lack midfield class and depth.

Oh he’s a number 1 ruck available as a free agent. So should have had a little interest. Plus StKilda went all in on TDK which would have blown a lot of clubs out of the picture for him.
Thats attractive - all of the other talent possibly doing the rounds worth getting would cost something in a trade.
The amount of times the crows mids were out and kicked the ball 3 feet over the hands of the leading player was incredible. They missed so many chances to have simple shots on goal.

Or against the Pies the Crows mids kept kicking to Moore. He must of thought it felt like every ANZAC Day
