My mail is that Adelaide have offered a four year $950k deal which is Band One. Brisbane offer is about the same for five years. Draper has still apparently not decided on which one he will take.

Kinda concur.
My point is that I am not cheering for the concept of us finally Farking our list so completely that we have no option but to draft.
In my opinion, and hear me out here, this is something we could have done while we still had someā¦even one decent senior player left.

yes i see your point, i do think we really need to go for a good solid player or 2 from a successful club, the young guys would benefit massively and moreso than from the players that are leaving who through no fault of their own have never known what a successful environment looks like

You could argue itās better to concentrate all the āwin nowā type trades in to one contender, rather than help several clubs be better than us.
That way they can fall off a cliff quickly.
From another thread the latest Zach article says Draper informed the Lions he would sign. Ace I think said 950k and 5(+1) years so that must be guaranteed band 1, it just has to be
