It also makes sense to be staying under the nose of recruiters a bit. If he starts the season well he is every chance to get picked up mid season.
Then if a big club picks him up then he doesn’t have to move again.

They’ve probably offered him 3k a game or something ridiculous compared to the Vfl

I thought he had signed with port Melbourne and if you wanted to get back into the afl playing at a local club wouldn’t be the way to do it
Would realise that his AFL dreams are over.
More money and zero training required to play ammos or country footy
