He had done a deal with the Suns which had him playing for the Suns NEAFL side with a chance to be taken on by them mid year or next year if it went well. They even assisted with him getting a Uni spot at UQ so I guess he will need to look at Melbourne Uni’s now

Given his injury history it’s difficult to predict how he’ll go with us. Sounds like he has good attributes to be a good player if he can keep himself fit. Hopefully that’s the case and he gets to play AFL.

Yeah, happy with this. Heading into the draft he was a bit of a smoky I’d have been happy with the club taking a chance on. Highly touted, held back by injuries, athletic and with a fair dose of aggro, as well as marking talent, this is a fair get. Don’t know if it was my imagination, but wasn’t there some talk that he had the attributes to move into the midfield as well?
