Former #26 Kaine Baldwin

From how @CJohns describes him it sounds a lot like Jesse Hogan in his Melbourne days, he often went up the ground and had plenty of the footy in link up play.

But yes, thanks for the footage!

The best players can make the impossible seem simple

The other comparison that strikes me is Jack Darling. Good mobility and good below his knees, but still likes to lift his hands take contested marks , rather than just getting on his bike and marking out on a lead.

Who’d have thought a big-bodied jet midfielder would have such a large turning circle?

Really looking forward to seeing Baldwin in the match sims and then the 2 pre-season games. Could be an upgrade on Waterman and maybe Francis since he is much more mobile and such a reliable and accurate shot at goal. Would love to see him develop in the mould of a “Stringer” type player as that would give our forward line some amazing grunt!

He is the second coming of JC.

Yeah I see him ultimately taking waterman spot this season. Would be great if he could slot in for 10 or so games and get some exposure.

Bit harsh. I know Jye’s had his injury issues, but he’s not dead yet.
