Former #29 Jye Menzie - thru 2025

Surely he is a late out?

His inclusion makes sense considering Smartt has done absolutely nothing. Feels like it will be Jyes farewell tour. No more of these slowpoke small forwards hopefully.

I hear that there is always a robust conversations around the team selection from all the coaches involved with selection. The final say on the sub however is always Brad’s decision.

Menzie to come in kick four and prove the difference in a master stroke by Coach Brad Scott to entrench the bombers firmly in the top four and ensure a home final. Oh wait… that’s another reality where out football team is actually relevant

he’ll be sub and come on when the game is well and truly over.

at least this way SEH and Johnson get to push for selection with big performances in the twos. better than being sub.

Don’t you mean 10 mins into the first qtr when someone goes down clutching a hammy

So predictable isn’t it. How sad.

When you say robust discussion iam guessing what that really means is the assistants arguing with Brad to pick a player and he goes nah I like the cut of (insert plodders name here) jib he stays in.

You just know Menzie is gonna smash this game open.

5 goals. 25 possies. 8 tackles.
Break it open Mr Jye. A 4 year contract awaits.

Menzie is the showcase example of a vanilla list clogger.

Recently I’ve been pretty happy with the decisions the club has made. But wtf were they thinking when they gave menzie another year. Oh yeah and don’t get me started on Harry jones.

Never, ever again.

A small forward who can’t kick goals is probably going to have limited opportunities going forward

Look forward to watching him at Lebanon Reserve next year.
