Former #29 Jye Menzie - thru 2025

I don’t know about that.

He’s in the Snelling boat. Menzie is a better reader of the play as a forward but but less tackling/contested ability. Both slow and can barely clear 35m if their lives depended on it. We need a ban on drafting small, slow and poor kicking small forwards.

Agreed, also trading.

I don’t understand how they cannot kick 35m. I’m in my early 50’s and easily kick 40.

dapto loves him

Dapto can marry him then.

All the best with your future endeavours.

No idea why you were given games towards the end of the season.

The classic going away games

another don bites the dust.

All the best in whatever you do next.

Absolutely bizarre.
He was told before the Saints game that he was gone and still got picked for the last 3 games so credit to him for at least actually trying and not downing downing

Makes sense for Goldy and to a degree Sheil…but there’s not way someone like Menzies should be gifted “going away” games.

He got them over Davey I guess, and he wasn’t deserving of them either.

Brad Scott thought playing him for the last month was a smart move…

And lets not forget the half-back/wing experiments…

Anyway, all the best Jye.

complain about him while you still can

No idea why people are complaining about him getting games.

We had, what, 3 fit AFL listed players in the VFL side.

I mean I would have given Alwyn some games, no doubt, but they were both getting delisted, so what are we complaining about?

Well done to Menzie. To get drafted and play senior AFL is a wonderful effort. Thank you Jye.

I’m in my late 60s and 35 is my limit. But enough about me. Good luck in the future. Thanks for all the fish.
