Former #40 Will “Snello” Snelling

And people are carrying on about it, while simultaneously lauding Richmonds "“Small Ball” (toss) fwd line.

The dichotomy is delicious.

Depends on the nature of the swelling…

We need accountable midfielders, hopefully he turns out like a Touk Miller type.

Can he play forward?

I struggle to see where he would fit in the AFL side should Dev Smith be fit. Seems a short term decision to me. The AFL would be proud.

Hope he offers more than being a small tackling machine.

Welcome to Essendon. Hope you’re a gun.

Can he take Bags spot in the forward line post 2019? This is in the assumption The Fridge can move into the midfield next year as well.

He’s not really a small forward.

Maybe he’ll follow on from Raz and turn out to be another South Australian secret special!

Appreciate that but I’m wondering if that’s the role they have in mind. A high pressure tackling forward.

Well William Snelling. We can’t get enough of these midgets

Who would of thought a game plan built around tackling?

Why oh why did we pass up on our second pick?

Where’s our replacement ruck???

Would be on brand if we drafted a mid to play as a forward.

If we really wanted a mid, we would have picked a half back flanker

Poor kid :worried:

So he’ll fit nicely into the culture.

Premiership player is Will

Will welcome and let it be known that you don’t have to go all Essington when you play.

The real question is, what number will he get? #47 or #48?

Dodoro has a decent recent record with picking up ex-AFL listed players.

Never could have predicted the value of Brown and especially McKernan when we first drafted them.

Didn’t see that coming.

DJR has been waiting for a Will Hams replacement .
