And we have 2 NGA small forwards in the end of year draft

We have one (Huss) and I already listed him.

Small forward depth is very thin.

I heard eskimo brothers.

Watched him play live against North in the VFl this year, he’s a footballer and if he gets fit enough I think he plays a lot of games. Kicking is good and contested work is very good.

Does Adam Sweid no longer count?

He’s a mid.

Smartts a forward mid.

played midfield as a junior but for us he has mostly been used as a forward in the VFL.

Sweid would be a forward/mid at AFL level too I believe. at least early days. maybe more HFF

Didn’t expect it to be Smartt but do like that we’ve given a shot to one of our VFL boys.

Does he have much pace?

Not really

Yeah. Me too.
I think our VFL recruiters can use this as an incentive for players we’re looking to get into the AFL system but need work.
Get them into our VFL team, keep a close eye on their habits and how well they improve and give them a chance on an AFL list at the MSD.

Not particularly, gets by more on footy smarts and kinda does everything well, very reasonable over head too for his size.

When I’ve watched him he’s given Dylan Moore type vibes

Probably because he doesn’t have that super quick turn of foot he seems a bit meh…in the games I’ve seen I’ve thought he a better prospect than Menzie to be fair

Makes it 2 years in a row after Cambell Grey got selected last year from our VFL side.

Good selling point to propects next vfl recruiting period

And Guelfi

Guelfi is a forward too

Sweid will also start on the flank as that midfielder come forward, as Hobbs has been doing

Day-Wicks and Perkins also play as non KPFs

Yeah Gresh, Davey, Menzie are gone… they aren’t gonna get any better

We will have Gresham for another year. Hes on big money. I dont see us being able to move him on unless we trade him and absorb the majority of his salary. My hope is that we just throw him in the middle and give Oskar a run up forward. Gresh plays better as a mid anyway.

Is it true that he was once photographed standing next to Harley Reid as a junior?
