The Voss messiah complex thread was as good as they come
I think the only real question re Hunter is, will he kick 6, 8 ,10 or 12 goals on debut?
Probably needs a Poll.
Better to be optimistic than pessimistic.
Realistic is probably worth a shot
Realistic can only materialize after we have had more exposure to his talent. In the meantime I will remain optimistic as it helps sooth the depression after our last two games of the season.
I hope this poll has an option for >12
Lets just say he is John Coleman Mark 2
Any truth to the rumour that Iām just now starting and embellishing as I type, that Hunter:
Runs even time for 100 meters, has a sub 3:50 for 1,500 meters, sub 15 minutes for 5km, clears 2.1 metres at high jump, bench presses 300kg, eats nails, can play bagpipes, squats 600kg, single arm curls 50kg, can kick a footy 65 meters on his left - 75 meters on his right, has a vice like grip, can hit a 3-iron, understands game plans, hates fark Carlton, is charismatic, once bested Chuck Connors, can play defensive and despite the angle can slot a goal from anywhere near 60 meters out.
OK, OK, I may have exaggerated about the bagpipesā¦
and possibly about hitting the 3-iron.
Sheesh! Even l can hit a 3 iron. For a long time that was my preferred weapon of choice off the tee, and could regularly out drive bigger guys using woods. True story.
LOL.
The story goes that if youāre out on the course and a thunder storm approaches with a high chance of being struck by lightning, to hold up a 3-iron over your head. As even God canāt hit a 3-iron.
Realism is just a word pessimists use to convince themselves that they have the only true view of the world

I heard he could hit a blade 1-iron

LOL.

The story (attributed to Lee Trevino) is a 1-iron.
I have heard that story, it was told by Lee Trevino and he said it was a 1 iron, not a 3. Coincidentally l have never hit a 1 iron.
Iāll stand corrected.
Jaiden Hunter can hit a 1-iron perfectly. He does however have problems with the 3-iron⦠playing left handed.
Worst game ever.
Mark Twain was right, golf is a good walk spoiled.
Anyways, that J Hunter. Have you guys heard how he recently turned water into wine, walked on water and fed 5,000 Essendon supporters utilizing just one can of sardines and a bread roll?

Worst game ever.
Mark Twain was right, golf is a good walk spoiled.
Can I unlike a post?
Yeah ya can.
I like walking on most golf courses. Theyāre beautiful. But playing the game, nah, Iām hopeless. Absolutely.
The phrase āgolf is a good walk spoiledā is a humorous expression that implies golf is a frustrating and pointless activity12. The origin of the phrase is unknown, but it has been attributed to several famous people, such as Mark Twain, Winston Churchill, and Oscar Wilde1. The phrase has been used in popular culture for many years, and is often said by people who do not enjoy or excel at golf2.
I am not convinced that Mark Twain ever played golf, but Churchill certainly did.
I also like a comment attributed to Joe Louis: āI go around in the low 80s. Any hotter than that and l wonāt play.ā
