Former #49 Jaiden Hunter

If the Eagles had a go I’d be interested to see how he’d perform.

The Eagles have Waterman and Shanahan as locks. Then a whole heap of guys that are somewhat still speculative like Archer Reid, Jack Williams, and CDT as a fwd/ruck will take time.

Wouldn’t be the most stupid acquisition for them. Freo are pretty set.

Doesn’t really suit a WA team IMO.

Maybe a North or Collingwood.

Perhaps but when you’ve already upended your life once for nothing but physio rehab and surgery then I guess just for his sake a WA club (the Eagles) make some sense on a short term deal with minimal hassle.

We could pick him up in the mid season draft.

Again.

It just didn’t make any sense that he recovers ready for big pre season and then fkn delisted, especially with how ■■■■ full our forward line was and still is.

Was Voss arseholed before or after Hunter

I was only ever accepting of letting him go when Blitzers said he was done injury wise. I thought he was a fantastic prospect.

He kicked 40 goals from 15 games last year too. Def a player there and will be interesting if any clubs give him a crack

Yeah, I was peeved last year when the guy who was meant to be gone for the year injured so we delisted him was out kicking bags.

He’s not the sort of player that we need. He’s similar to McMahon, who I think is already surplus to requirements. If he was like May (more power forward than lead-up type), he would fit our list profile better.

We kept Hunter over VOSS
then Hunter got injured in the preseason, and that was all she wrote.
He also had a setback (back surgery), so maybe hadn’t fully recovered before delisted.

But it likely opened up MSD pick for Saad El-Hawli in 2024.

So sad. Clearly has the talent but not the body.

Oh jeez, some blokes are just cursed. Poor kid cannot buy a bit of luck.

Devastating news for the young man. Of talent he has plenty, but his body is not up to the rigours of the game. Full speed ahead for your recovery. He would have been a regular if not for his misfortune.

Waiting for someone to blame this on EFC, like when a player is injured in the VFL it’s the clubs fault they weren’t playing AFL…

Kaine Baldwin Mk 2

What was the sequence with Baldwin, Hunter, Voss and May?

Voss copped the tijuana a week before Hunter did his ACL

Then Baldwin got the Chaminda

And Hunter then got the lemonade and sars
