Former #9 Dylan Shiel - from July 2022

I’d give him an extra year to play VFL for us

Be worth it for the melts on here if he gets another year and before you attack me I’m not fussed if he goes or stays.

to be fair was ok on Friday.

Still a cat who won’t put his body in and can’t kick but he showed some dash.

I want to marry you

I want to marry Roseanne Barr

The best thing about this offseason is that this guy never plays for Essendon again.

Wouldn’t count on that!

My biggest worry is that Brad is going to roll out the red carpet for Shiel and Goldy for 2026.

Well you should be fussed.

Imagine Goldstein playing seniors next year. That just says we don’t give a ■■■■ about winning anymore

What actually happened to make him fall off a cliff in the way he has?

11 disposals as centre square mid - he looks to be in OK physical shape, and he’s not super old.

He is over it. Probably doesn’t train like he used to, whats the point? He will be gone seasons end, thinking about other things. Just plays to get the paycheck as thats his contract

I’d rather blood 4 games to Unwin/Gerryn then play Shiel for a single extra game.

I like him more than most, but after he played a handful of good games and delivered these pearlers we should’ve taken a pick.

“You’ve got to assess what’s best for Dylan Shiel and the family,” he said.

“I’d like (to think that I’m going) to fulfill my contract (at Essendon).

“I’m not oblivious to the news, they’re obviously interested again … we’ll see. I’m not going to deny, deny, deny when it’s clearly happening.”

@SeventeenthFlag thinks that anyone who talks in the 3rd person has no right to be involved at our club

Should have been frogmarched out after referring to himself in the 3rd person
