I’m hoping he stops off at Coles for a BBQ chicken or two for the team lunch, otherwise it’s going to be very ugly for us I’m afraid. Just hoping the boys show some grit and there’s a semblance of a working game plan.

Jezza dropping 10 goals on LAV tonight should signal the end to his career at Essendon, but you just know Brad will be giving him an ‘Encouragement Award Ribbon’ post game in front of the playing group.

“ Jayden…you were beaten tonight, but you never stopped trying “

Geelong seem a little overs.

I watch a lot of games at GMHBA and the cats have a tendency to play globetrotter footy v ordinary sides which can be to their detriment. The supporters are getting very confident, GF ballots, Jezza to outscore Essendon, resting Danger etc….They have/had such an easy 5-6 weeks I just hope the pressure is off. Great for % but their lack of intense games will cost them come finals IMO.

To put this in context, Sportsbet will not risk paying out $10,000 on a million dollar Geelong bet.

Stranger things have happened in a game of football.

Or have they!?

Bet odds question: has there ever been higher odds for a team than us, tonight?

Was it 2011 when we upset them at Docklands? Welshy played a blinder forward. Pig kept Johnson in check?
