Getting ready for gameday… can’t help but get excited. Going to be some tough bits watching these guys grow together… but I’ve loved most of what has come out this pre-season… the bonding… the nod to history… seems like we are trying to rebuild a true club culture… I hope it bears fruit on the field.
We are also getting quicker and younger… I’m hoping to see the same effort we put in against Geelong and hoping that the defensive pressure is adjusted again to stop that ‘over the back’ issue we saw.
I think we can win tonight and win well. As always we will know within the first ten minutes if we are ‘on’ and I hope we are. Would love to see a big mark from 2MP and Cox… see Hind running off HB… Francis smashing it… Riddles controlling HB… AMT bouncing around… Laverde and Langford stepping up… and the biggest biggest biggest wish… to see Drapes giving silver service to Merrett, Shiel, Parish, McGrath et al…
