Parish’s best game.
Great stuff.

That’s Bringing the game into disrepute

Could’ve found a vote for 15 guys.

Whole backline group - great. Absolutely terrific. Particularly given dea going off early.

Midfield looked to bat about 10 deep, Parker had a crack, Heeney flashed in and out, but that’s about all. Kennedy looks weary.
Compare to - Heppell good all game, Zerrett a constant threat, Zaha good, Myers grunting in, McGrath had moments, Langford good, Parish useful, Smith his usual self, Tippa a pest when he was in there. Etc etc.
As a group, Sydney just could not go with us.
That’s a very, very strange feeling; not something we’ve had in a long, long time. Maybe since the 80s.

Langford becoming such a weapon. Thrown forward here and there. Thrown on Kenendy (who made him his bitch this time last year). Unfussed, unhurried, and effective: what a player he’s become.

Loved Belly having a quiet word with Jones. He’s an absolute man mountain, and starting to use it.

Stringer didn’t look right but absolutely lifted gears in the third and again for the last. Big heart.

We’ll win a final this year.

I liked the fact it was a tough hard game. Sydney came at us really hard and we copped it, we gave it back, copped some more, gave it back again and then kept giving it and then went away with it. We broke them and Sydney had nothing more to give. We farkin broke them. Massive step forward from last year’s final. Sure, it wasn’t a final tonight but both teams had a massive crack and we came out in front and on top.

So tonight’s game will be different to every other game this year with runners not going out at the end of quarters because Gil and Hocking were on the boundary.

This code is a joke.

Explain for those of us at the game?

You do realise we are going to be the team that breaks Richmond’s MCG winning run in a few weeks time… which will propel us into the finals.

And this place will go off.
