Weapon breakage is something you hate for the first hour, and then get after the 15th.
It forces you to cycle through and play differently. Otherwise you’d find a weapon you like by hour 3 and play the next 30 with the same one.
Once you get the Master Sword half way through - doesn’t matter anyway

Probably late to tell you this but the OLED one has a better screen and battery.
It’s identical speed-wise, other than that the dock has an Ethernet port if you were playing online (which obviously doesn’t matter for BOTW).
And to answer your question about if BOTW is any good, it’s gone straight to my top 3 games ever, probably my #1. First game that engrossed me in that way since OoT as a 6 year old!

I dont see what the problem is with that though. Losing a weapon after two or so battles with it was very frustrating.

Ive played a little bit of it and think its fantastic but havent been able to find the time to keep playing, its got so much to read and think about that its not an easy game to play just for half an hour every now and then. Id love to spend a whole day just playing it and get further into it at some point.

It is a massive time-sink. You want to just talk to the next guy and by the time you do you realize that an hour has passed.

Finally got around to starting Horizon 2. it kinda of fell by the wayside with Elden Ring being released at the same time.
Its an amazing game, visually stunning and makes a lot of improvements on the first one. definitely don’t miss out on this one.

Finished my first run through a couple of weeks ago.
Amazing game, my first souls type game and I’m now currently doing a Bloodborne run - working my way backwards the genre.
