Recently dusted off Red Dead Redemption 2 for a second playthrough. Hadn’t played it since I bought it when it dropped in 2018.
First time I rushed through the story, but this run I took my time and immersed myself in the world. Also deliberately played for low honour so was fun just randomly robbing/shooting NPCs and being and antagonistic prick haha.
Such a great game, the story draws you in and the scenery is gorgeous.

Activisions branding department has absolutely no ideas on what to call their call of duty games anymore, this decade apart from (vanguard 2021) every game has been either a black ops from treyarch or a modern warfare from infinity ward. The creativity from this franchise has vanished.

Single player yep but there is an online mode
Same developers that made the Hitman games if you like those games you will like this
It’s a mix of Hitman and Uncharted
You can add an nmve drive to the PS5 for more storage
How much are they?
Think you can get 2TB for about $400.
I did it, no brainer - don’t think twice about saves/downloading

They just had Summer Games Fest and announced the third and last instalment of the final fantasy 7 franchise - Revelation!
Out next Spring 2027 (for the US, I think that’s between March-May?). So excited, may actually need to take time off work to play it.

As has been rumoured for a number of weeks - Xbox has had mass layoffs overnight.
1600 people lost their job yesterday with a further 1600 to lose their jobs by end of 2027 Fiscal year. In addition 4 studios are leaving Xbox ownership and another still up in the air.
Compulsion Games (We Happy Few, South of Midnight) and Double Fine Productions (Psychonauts 2, Kiln) are transitioning to independent studios, while Ninja Theory (Hellblade) and Undead Labs (State of Decay 3) are being sold off. Arkane Studios (Marvel’s Blade) is also reviewing strategic options.
