Looks a truly great setting … just 10K as a crowd.
That’s why I’m diversifying and just going along to most games to socialise.

It’s a fantastic setup and amazing what having good connections can get you. They received a hell of a lot of money thanks to their influence. I played and coached footy at that club and whilst they are a well ran club a lot of people still scratching their head at the money spent.
The cricket club based there are a basket case with 2 senior sides and no juniors whilst my club 5 minutes down the road has 5 senior sides, 6 junior sides, women’s sides plus more and somehow have missed out on any funding whatsoever and likewise most other community clubs in the area.
A lot of money for 8 weeks of football and a few dozen games of cricket each year

And then Ralph commenting on what Pat Cronin’s dad (a Richmond supporter) said about it. Which was that he hoped Balta never played again.
Ralph said something like legal sources saying it was not a jailable offence. Somebody should challenge Ralph on that language. A legal opinion might be that he might possibly escape jail, but it is 100% ‘jailable’. Up to 5 years. Saying ‘not jailable’ implies there is no possibility of jail based on the charge, and that’s a lie.

Sure, but if Hawthorn lose there is no real consequence. It’s “ehh, they were probably due a loss anyway, they still good”.
If Port get belted, it’ll be wall to wall crisis at Port Adelaide talk. I want to see that.

Search Noah Balta is a thug for the footage. There is no words for this yet, they’re trying to clean up the game. If he plays again it is disgraceful.

The AFaiL are sure ramping up the Port V Hawks game. They are making the most of Ken Hinkley having a go at Ginnivan last season. Are they going to pay back Ken’s 20k fine? They are certainly making heaps of mileage on it.

You need to have somewhat of a supporter base before wanting things like that.
The moral compass of an AFL teams fans certainly goes astray when their own player is involved in, let’s be frank, a disgraceful off-field incident.
The amount of Richmond fans defending this peanut and his actions, “He hAS dONe hIS tImE - LeT hIm pLaY!!!” is staggering.
