Currently 9th on match ratio percentage…

But the AFL will confirm the finals teams after Round 23 rather than after Final Round.

They have a million tickets to sell, after all.

You have to check this somewhere else that’s not the AFL app right? Just AFL things ■■■■■■■ things up this badly

Surely it can’t be that hard for you to to work out which teams have won more or less than 50% of their games…

Point is this round zero bullshit has made everything munted for a while now and needs to gtfo

I’m not sure about that. I think North, Carlton, Port and us are in the ring for it, and I can see all three getting more wins than us. Injuries will play a big part.

Nah mate…c’mon
Collingwood are looking every bit a Finals side.
That would be a very good win with Houston back.

Can’t take too much out of the Port & Melb wins other than there are some pleasing signs of development.

I missed most of the game on Saturday night, but I’ve just got through a replay. A few observations:

  • Melbourne gave us a big leg-up by fluffing some really good opportunities in the first quarter. If they’d taken those I suspect the complexion of the game would have looked quite different
  • Our tackling and pressure seemed better than usual. Setterfield a big part of the improvement in the former
  • It was a pretty good response in the last 30-odd minutes after Melbourne came came back in the 3rd quarter

On a few individuals:
McGrath - I know a lot of folks hate him now, but I thought he played well. Not great, not perfect, but good. No issues with his performance for me.
Draper - I can’t believe anyone could watch our first month and think we should trade him. He can do stuff no other ruck can do, and his game is expanding and getting more consistent. It would be crazy to trade him, even if Bryan wasn’t injured
Hobbs - Some of his contested ground ball stuff is excellent. He can do stuff that is hard to teach, at a high level. Keep sending him up.
Ridley - It amuses me when folks on here question him. He’s very, very good.
Durham - His attack on the contest is pretty much perfect. And he can kick, mark and run. What a find.
Menzie - Obviously a really good game, but he should have kicked five or six.
Reid - I didn’t see him make a single mistake. Very promising, just be patient people.

Hopefully we don’t play the tram that Polac lost to.

Said numpties would point out no trade would be required given he is a free agent, but ya know numpties

In a lot of agreement with your summary

Was it the forward pressure of the Demons that was so pathetic?

Here are our back six disposal efficiency… Amazing.

Reid 90.5
Ridley. 88.5
McKay 87.5
Redman 86.4
Roberts. 85.7
Prior 83.3

We have some good kicks down back now. Its starting to come together, but we do need to play better teams than us.

Certainly more sterner tests to come.

For the first time in a long time, I am starting to believe that the players are playing for each other and putting team first… of course, the usual caveats re: being a long season apply, but for the moment, I can see some really decent foundations starting to take shape.

You missed McGrath.

Convenient, that. 76.9.%
