The severe weather is up on the NSW/Vic border.
Not sure what all the hullabaloo about rain is about.
Just look at the radar. Pan out, look to the left and see which direction it’s going in.
It’s mostly light rain, which is what we’ve experienced throughout the day.
So if no changes we have 2 of Hobbs, Caddy, Menzie playing no footy this weekend? Hardly great management of young players. Let’s see if any late changes.
If there’s no changes it’s not such a big deal.

It’s part of a young players development.

Disagree, if we are holding players over for later games - it should be older more experienced players where game time and development isn’t as valuable.

Rain has gone.
Just “coldies” coming up the bay now from the SW. Typically, they hit the eastern / SE suburbs more than the CBD, but we’ll certainly have a shower or two.

Every player needs to learn what to do when they aren’t playing VFL.
The sub goes to the 23rd player that week.
The 24th gets held back more often than not.
The 24th and 25th get held back whenever the coach wants to play funny buggers.

Greasy but not sloppy. Look after the footy and dry weather footy is achievable. If there’s a few showers, and there’s a band that’ll be due by half time, then it’ll be wet weather footy.

Generally, there’s a bit of a rain-shadow from the SW for the CBD and westwards, most of the rain ends up on the coast. IMO it will be showers but not too much more than that.
The ball will get greasy, for sure. Expect that the G will drain well, as it does, so it should be okay underfoot.
