Poor Giants, Fox commentators keep referring to their (3) players out injured.
9 and we win
I know where we are at is pretty low, and got injuries ourselves, but geez you look at their outs, hogan, kelly, taylor, daniels, ward and i think a couple of others and they barely got out of 2nd gear and absolutely dominated them.
again i get some of the guys are young, but even the older and senior blokes, standing next to gws players they are just miles off their size, and then their work rate to boot.
you canât say the fitness and preperation at the club is anywhere near where it should be (injuries aside making that obvious) but most still look like twigs compared to top teams.
A loss is a loss, even if the margin was not over 100 points, I still reckon one or 2 of the cats and bulldogs games we might be a drubbing to look forwards to, or not look forwards to. Gonna be a long 7 weeks before the final siren rings on a rather turballent season for the EFC.
That was actually not the worst. I was ok with it.
Good times. Good times.
TBH they are probably told to hype GWS by their corporate masters.
Great effort. Skills desperately need improvement. Lots of fans at the playersâ race cheering them off. Thatâs why weâll always be a better club than FC
Itâs no âChocolate Salty Ballsâ
20k and a crap team
We are turning into North 2.0
Got the right coach for that, too.
There was some real positives in that.
They did everything the could to exonerate Briggs, yet threw Laverde under the bus.
And the AFL wonât give us any help
Well, we went into the game three men down (Gresham, Shiel, Perkins), so an OK result all-up I guessâŚ
Was a good effort, tried to the end, some good signs, obv a lot to work on still. Still sucks to lose and is going to be a long few weeks. Ready for the year to be over and move on to next year.not sure how to feel but I do know losing sucks regardless of how, it just sucks
Gresham with 9 clearances, more than double our next best player was not on my bingo card
Essendon doesnât need help. It just needs to take its salts, cop the pain of the next few seasons, and stop trying to quick fix everything.
Essendonâs biggest problem has been Essendon.
Good effort, but our kicking for goal a huge let down
By God itâs deflating when we canât kick a goal from a simple set shot well inside 50. Even for a kid, itâs a basic skill. And when our experienced players, normally good kicks, â â â â up the shots at goal itâs even worse.
Just imagine if our 0.8 had been 5.3, or even 4.4. We would have been in the game. We could even have been in front. But I knew when we â â â â â â up that first attack of the second quarter that by half time weâd be blown off the park, and we were.
Depressing. Thank God for red wine.
Thatâs 7 losses in a row and easily end up being 12
How many players will walk out at seasons end? no one will stick around in a losing team
