Aaron Rai’s sponsors, Me And My Golf have some excellent training videos. Check them out, they really talk sense!

God help us.

Anyone got a zero torque putter? Thoughts?

I have a void centre shaft Goliath

Took about 300 putts to work it out

Have to hit harder and centre alignment was a little tricky in the beginning

So after 12 weeks 3 days back after knee replacement back out onto golf course .

Did 3 works of hitting balls in sim but very little putting chipping and it showed .

34 points off 9 only got up and down 1 from 7 and dint hole many putts

The GT3 driver never missed a beat .

Glad to be back out there

Late reply but I’ve had a LAB Oz1 for the last 12 months. Best putter I’ve ever had, I had a spider before that and I never thought I’d replace that.

It can take a little bit to adjust to the feeling and distance control but I never had much trouble. A mate has had a DF3 for a similar time and he’s had more putters than I’ve had Sunday dinners and it’s still in his bag.

Well done. I’m back in 2 weeks time but I only had keyhole, clean out surgery. Gonna have a coffee with the boys on Sunday and have half hour on the putting green while I wait for them to finish.

Playing Growling Frog for the first time on Monday. Super pumped for it!

Had an awesome time at Growling Frog. A great course, best I’ve ever played, better than Gisborne IMO. Hit them poorly after playing the best I’d ever played yesterday at Royal Park, but still a great day out.

Great to hear. I have a seniors mid week membership at the Frog. If you ever want a game give me a shout out. I have paid for a cart too.

Nice one. I’m considering membership there. Would be between the Frog and Gisborne. What’s the general vibe like there in teems of the members, pretty cruisy?

The Frog is the best course in the North, my number 1 pick in the local area. A beautiful course and walk.

Yes very much so, very friendly, club house is good. The course was designed by Graham Marsh and they are spending lots of money on fairways and greens. Not sure how much Gisbourne is but the fees at the Frog are very reasonable. I used to play at Heidelberg with Tony Shaw and Alister Nicholson from Channel 7 but it is far too hilly so I left there. A few of the Essendon boys play at the Frog too, Caddy, McGrath etc along with many AFL boys. I would highly recommend joining if it’s not too far for you to travel!

Spot on Benny! I don’t know of any public courses that match it.

It’s only about 40 mins. Pretty straight run. Although when I set off for home, just after the start of the footy yesterday, the traffic on Donnybrook Rd was pretty congested. But that wouldn’t deter me at all. The clubhouse is ridiculous, the views out the windows of the bistro area were stunning.

Frog usually has unlimited golf + cart after 2 pm; not terribly practical this time of year but something I try to take advantage of in the summer months.
