Why did they extend the contract for so many years when BB were already coming out with the fact that he was not the coach for us.

EFC Board decisions since the early 2000’s include:

1. Extending Sheedy’s contract once and arguably twice when he was past his use by date
2. Handling of Sheedy ‘s removal
3. Appointing Knights
4. Extending Knights contract for no apparent good reason
5. Compounding 4 above by sacking him
6. Appointing a club legend who had no previous coaching experience at any level
7. The Saga - not a Board decision per se, but occurred under their governance
8. Extending Hird’s contract for no good reason.
9. Appointing Worsfold - give this a tick given the on field circumstances
10. extending Worsfold’s contract for no apparent good reason.

Granted Board members have come and gone over this time, but it’s hard to have a lot of confidence that future decisions re coaching appointments will contradict past history.
