Welcome Blitzers to the greatest week there is. The week after we thrash (fark) Carlton.
With so much tension over the last few years, and so much to argue about, it's about time we had a fun week on here and just enjoyed barracking for the Bombers.
So... Lets have some honesty. Show off some good calls by you, and admit to your bad ones. (i'm not talking general obvious observations like 'gee, that heppell kid can play' or 'not sure Michael Quinn is up to it,' but stuff you actually went out of your way to argue here on Blitz.)

- Gettng rid of Lonergan, Dyson, Reimers, Slattery etc. Would create more depth, not less

^^Haha! It wasn't totally proved wrong? Have a look back at our fears, then a look at the result, and tell me if you think any of our fears were founded?
Bad calls by me: Thurlow should have been upgraded, Crameri will be missed, Gumby will come good, play Jetta, play Reimers, play Houli, keep Peverall, Jerret back to VFL.
Good call by me: Sack Knights, Dont sack Hird.
Jury still out: Carlisle to be a better forward than Hurley...

i considered mentioning it but no fark it i stand by it. i said at the time it wasn't about losing the game or otherwise it was about risk minimization, i stand by that. no doubt there is a massive up side on rolling that dice though and that is the Jake C has shown he knows what he is doing in there.

Ha. I do tend tend to post more positive and thoughtful stuff around Awards time... those things are important blitz business!!
Picked Jackson Merrett, Gleeson and Carlisle as quality the first time I saw them in the VFL.
Was always positive on Baguley - he has done better than I expected but I never doubted that he was AFL standard.
Always stuck up for Hooker.
Was negative on Neagle. I generally try to stay away from bagging players but there was so much unjustified love for the guy I felt I had to say something.
Hurley is a defender.
Bad Call:
Said Tory Dickson was a good footballer at VFL level but wouldn't make in the AFL. Has been good for the Bulldogs.
Said Tom Campbell would make a good AFL ruckman but, despite the odd moment, has been a bit disappointing. Probably a little slow.
Was negative on Houlli for same reason as Jay Neagle. Perhaps not a totally bad call but he has done better than I expected at Richmond.
