Grand Final Entertainment

Everyone knows I’m a mad Norwood fan.
Born and raised in Norwood heartland

I didn’t know - Just curious as I grew up over there.
The glory days of the SANFL were ■■■■■■ good.
Remember being at a GF in the early/mid eighties when u guys came from the elimination final and rolled Port.
Did the state a favour.
Good luck in the GF - from the sounds of things you won’t need it.

I quite like Dragon, some classic tunes.

Yep, they sure can Drag on.

There was the one where the guy at a hotdog in about 2.3 seconds. Quite an effort.

Then the next week, same seats, someone did a hand stand.

Then the next week, same seats a guy picked his nose.

Beginning to think it was staged.

I thought Jimmy Barnes put on a pretty good show.

Barnsey has a good f*cken band.

Davey Lane from You am I as lead guitarist brings the quality.

So did Shuey sing Khe San afterwards?

What about Keith Jarrett next year. They can extend half time to 30 minutes so he can play the extended Koln concert first movement. But just remember, no cameras or coughing until he’s done.
The iconic first 4 notes would sound wonderful echoing around the G.
And he’s a hell of a lot cheaper than Meatloaf.

Did I hear somewhere the AFL almost had the Foo Fighters instead of Black Eyed Peas?
They’d be perfect and can do an outdoor act.

The MCG is so unique and it’s sound is terrible.
Foo Fighters would do it well if they can set the stage and sounding themselves.

You need loud, aggressive singers that can hold a note.

Softer singers can too much reverb and echo and it sounds ■■■■.

I wouldn’t be a fan of most bands playing at the Grand Final. Hard rock, metal and punk is my thing.

But yes, Foo Fighters would go down well.
