Just reieved this email from Essendon.
Is this something they normally do?
First year as a Home game memeber which gives me a ballot chance if the bomber make the grand final.
im assuming if they dont make the grand final the club keeps the money? and put it towards the club and and nothing to do with the afl?
as for me this seems a good option as long as its the club getting the money.
It depends what type of membership you have bought. To get a guaranteed GF seat, (only if Essendon make it) you must have at least a Silver Membership or High Mark. Bronze members would get put into a ballot but the chances of being successful are governed by the number of High Mark and Silver Members.
