So many nuffies in the cheer squad it amazed me the other night. Stood up the back for the 1st, 2nd and 4th quarter but sat about 3 rows behind the cheer squad for the 3rd but couldn’t deal with how cringe they were so went to the GS. Good luck to them though…

I wouldn't be surprised. It's highly unoriginal. I recall Sydney also having a similar chant in 1996 when they made the Granny.

Absolutely. Don't know or care which club started it first but the slow Essendon chant was definately around in the 80's & eary 90's.
