It’s the “1300 years of Bulgaria” monument in Sofia - one of the most bizarre, poorly built things you’d ever want to see, and yet somehow compelling because of the thought process/history behind it.
I believe it’s actually finally been pulled down in the last couple of years…
Even in its pomp (see left-hand image below), it must’ve been an odd-looking thing…
