Handy Reference Chart of Club Indiscretions

Something I’ve been wanting to compile for awhile. When fan of club × says “Haha Essendon drug cheats”, what do you reply with about club ×? If we can get a list for all clubs indiscretions it may become a handy reference guide for others.

Supposedly the reason Dank was kicked out by Gold Coast (but Robinson stayed much longer, until we poached him) was that he was already sharing the good stuff with Brisbane players. Hard to work both sides at once…

Mad Bomber - AFL communications is a misnomer. Just for starters: 1. Why doesn't the AFL website have a contact point (the "contact us" translates to contact Big Pond). The NRL has one and responds very quickly. As a journalist recently pointed out, in this digital age, why does he have to fax the AFL? 2. Why doesn't the AFL website post the AFL's constitution - it posts all the clubs?. When I asked the AFL for a copy I was told to buy one from ASIC, available for a "modest fee" (it's not so modest). Also, refused to provide historical records of the transition from VFL to AFL. 3. Why doesn't the AFL publicise on its website that Crown Bet (67% owned by Crown) is a major sponsor - estimated by Crown Bet at close to $10 million a year - and that it has an arrangement with Crown Bet to live stream AFL games on the Crown Bet app until the end of the year? After all it publicised RFC joining the Charter of Responsible Gambling. 4. Why don't the AFL Annual Reports/ Financial Records disclose remunerations to Commissioners? The Annual Report is just puff, filled with photos and hardly any information. 5. Not a good look , as Damien B would say

And you know who’s a Crown Bet director coincidinkly, don’t you?

I don’t think it is a coincidink at all.

Someone wrote this on blitz some time back sorry didn't keep record of who
Freo - plenty of guys who like the recreational drugs, appears to have been cleaned up a bit by Lyon.

Collingwood - Rat pack going nuts on the drugs and the sniff of a club wide program of HGH in 2010. Caught out betting on games from players and players families which suggest the potential of match fixing. Heavy links to the underworld.

Carlton - investigating implimenting a doping program that was conveniently deleted, clearly just late to the party. Massive salary cap breaches and sanctioned. Then allowed a Judd salary rort. Plenty of obvious tanking. Fevola linked to loan sharks and shanked 1 kick we think we know of for them to relive debt pressure. Also liked the drugs, Judd rumored to need out of WA through fear he was on the cousins path.

Lions - plenty of boundaries pushed to the point the AFL had to put a stop to it, voss saying they were after dank for employment and Lynch on a sanctioned TRT program, which puts it on the pemisis for others to use. Also plenty of talk of a wild lions premiership outfit.

Gold Coke Suns - Bock done but not done for CJC, most likely not the only one and Hunt charged with trafficking in the period he was a GCS.

Sydney - rumblings of some serious salary cap rorting and have been sanctioned for doing nothing wrong by the AFL thus no trades. Yeah my ■■■. Generally the rehab centre for troubled stars who partying gets three in trouble, simpler life in Sydney cleans them up. Current crop rumored to be turning the rehab centre into studio 54.

Adelaide - wild premiership outfit, including salary cap rorting at that time. Roo and d Jarmens wives were the highest paid 1 day a week receptionist in history. Later caught salary cap rorting and sanctioned. Like the drugs.

Port - whispers of salary cap rorting with wangers and some McDonalds profit sharing. Few that like the off season drugs and one that died from a bad trip. Hints they are on the good stuff at the moment with an endurance base well above the rest of the Comp.

Cats - Plenty of murmurings about Danks advice to Robinson, a sophisticated supplement program and generally accepted use of recreational drugs from the coaching group down.

Hawks - plenty of drug problems over the last decade including former players with serious problems, rehab stints and the like. Plenty of players on strikes, one guy caught. Linked to Croad and his peptide peddling, also linked to the supposedly dank competitors who are better at remaining silent. Constantly pushing medical boundaries.

Richmond - serious underworld links including a few that flaunt it. Linked to some wild partying and too crap to be on anything good supplement wise.

Melbourne - serious tanking and caught but not caught and sanctioned for not tanking. Was playing catch up on the supps but caught early but no doubt would have continued.

North - big links to the underworld, senior execs getting huge kickbacks through the clubs, i.e. Lucrative cleaning contracts etc. wild premiership outfit including heavy rec drug use. Had two of the supposedly best fitness/physio people available quietly ref moved after having the least injuries of any club ever in 2012, staff gone once rumours of an asada investigation started. Murmuring of underworld links raping Essendon $$ and then trying to dump essendon in on the drugs all as a favour to North.

They are the ones I’m interested in

A few quick ones from me

Hawthorn - Coke, Buddy, Clarkson, Hodgey
Geelong - supplements, Ablett
Melbourne - Tanking
farkcarlton - paper bags, blue shakes, tanking, salary caps, Elliot
Pies - clenbuterol, coke
Westcoke - premierships won all off their farkin trees (just watch the medal handouts post GF’s)
Ninthmond - coach turnstiles, KB
Goldcoke - obvious

An old article about the Hawthorn medical records and a reference to refusing an ASADA drug test.
http://the-speccy.blogspot.com.au/2007/08/channel-7-goes-nuclear-on-afl.html

I’d just say that they may be wise to check our defamation laws (see para 164 of CAS report)

Carlton are just ■■■■, you don’t need to refute anything.

I appreciate that it was just off the top of your head, but you missed a few coke-related indiscretions there.

I wrote this one a while ago, my vent during the height of the saga.

Collingwood: 2 Failed drug tests. Known recreational drug use. - Club did nothing wrong. Richmond: 1 failed drug test - Club did nothing wrong. Fremantle: 1 failed drug test - Club did nothing wrong. St Kilda: 1 failed drug test - Club did nothing wrong. West Coke: Yeah... - Club did nothing wrong. Gold Coast: 1 player proven to have taken banned substances but allowed to retire without charge. Steven Dank and Dean Robinson employed by AFL. Massive recreational drug culture. - Club did nothing wrong. Melbourne: Club doctor met multiple times with Steven Dank and used same peptides as Essendon. - Club did nothing wrong. Geelong: Purchased "amino acids" from Steven Dank. Dank had a strong input and spoke to Dean Robinson almost every day about Geelong's program. - Club did nothing wrong. AFL "thorough investigation" (AKA phone survey) found a total of 12 clubs had supplements programs without adequate controls in place. - None of the clubs did anything wrong. Essendon: 0 failed drug tests. Program specifically planned to not break rules or hurt players. Impartial tribunal found no proof of banned substances at club. - Club evil. Sack Hird. Oh yeah, and it's completely fair for the AFL PR team to constantly leak confidential information to maintain a media furor that causes immense psychological harm to players.

Do those paper bags at Fark Carlton also include the hush money paid to those women that were alledgely raped by some of that clubs70's/ 80's premiership stars back in the day?

And we could also compile a list of clubs that have had rape allegations against their players swept under the carpet in the past 20-30 years.

But of course what has occured at our club in the past three years far outweighs any other minor indiscretions that have happened at all the other clubs put together, according to the communication specialists.

Fark these clowns and general public too.

I work with the AFL communications officer’s sister so any specifics I can hit her with would be fun for me and I may have some enlightening comments to share in here.

70s/80s? FC paid off victim of a 90s/early 00s player and the culpitt got off scot-free.

Mad Bomber - AFL communications is a misnomer. Just for starters:

  1. Why doesn’t the AFL website have a contact point (the “contact us” translates to contact Big Pond). The NRL has one and responds very quickly. As a journalist recently pointed out, in this digital age, why does he have to fax the AFL?
  2. Why doesn’t the AFL website post the AFL’s constitution - it posts all the clubs?. When I asked the AFL for a copy I was told to buy one from ASIC, available for a “modest fee” (it’s not so modest). Also, refused to provide historical records of the transition from VFL to AFL.
  3. Why doesn’t the AFL publicise on its website that Crown Bet (67% owned by Crown) is a major sponsor - estimated by Crown Bet at close to $10 million a year - and that it has an arrangement with Crown Bet to live stream AFL games on the Crown Bet app until the end of the year? After all it publicised RFC joining the Charter of Responsible Gambling.
  4. Why don’t the AFL Annual Reports/ Financial Records disclose remunerations to Commissioners? The Annual Report is just puff, filled with photos and hardly any information.
  5. Not a good look , as Damien B would say
