The more speed in the forward line we can bring in the better.
I was just noting the number of powerful beasts that are in there. The small tigers players better watch out, they are going to get tackled and hit hard.

it would make sense IF they were fit and hadn’t missed any football.
again on a day where you’ve lost a key forward, probably the biggest at the club due to mismanagement and rushing him back cos our “tall players were decimated” you’d think they’d learn something and not rush back more players, just cos they are tall.
It reeks of ineptitude and a lack of being able to think of a new or different way to win.
esp in a game where

B they won’t be able to apply the defensive pressure required on a top team
why not try something new or different ?
I’m against it in general, but why not move Hooker down forward, have him as the only big body, and play exactly the way richmond do and go with a ton of smalls and just pressure the ■■■■ out of the richmond backline ?
Stringer can play the caddy role and we just blitz them with their own gameplan ?

The selection of Lav over bags worries me. If its going to be wet why bring in another tall and drop a contested ground ball player?
I understand Woosh wants a look at a different fwd line structure. But who is left to provide fwd pressure, against a quick team, in the wet?
Im predicting the ball will leave our fwd line so quick our heads will spin.
Would not be surprised to see Guelfi play a negative forward role on Vlaustin or Houli to try stop that.

1mm of rain predicted so hardly going to be a wet ground, besides Bags has really struggled to apply pressure at all this year. Only laid 1 tackle last week. I think he’s averaging around 2 tackles a game so its not like his pressure will be missed. We might be better off having another marking target in LAV up there this week, who knows

Brown is miles ahead of Francis as a forward if that’s where they plan on using Francis again. They must’ve been too worried about bringing both McKernan and Brown back from injury together.
If going to be dry I welcome the extra taller target.
Lets forget how they were premiers in 2017. Lets look at 2019.

They lost to GWS and Collingwood and the dogs. They have yet to play Geelong and Brisbane who sit above them on the ladder, so that makes them pretty much on a par with us…
Percentages are very similar. Richmond around 104 Essendon around 101.
I still maintain we are a good chance in this game. In terms of results this year, they are not that much, if anything ahead of us at this point.

A Richmond thug rang up a radio station suggesting that they are expecting Sydney Stack to take one or more of our players out. It might get a bit feisty tomorrow night, so watch out for any drunk Richmond supporters.
