Perhaps prefer Brown in the conditions?

Yeah too weird. And no birdie. It’s going to be betty wet…

Hartley has been ok hasn’t he? Much prefer him to Brown.

It’s meant to be pretty crap weather, so may be Brown is better in the wet or matches up better.

Huh.

RIP Woosha’s sensible team changes

Harts paid the price for not comprehensively dealing with a young player. But I suspect Brown would not have been much better,

Brown played very very well in the VFL against Footscray Thats the message the players want to hear Play well and you can dislodge incumbent players, and that keeps them all working hard.

That’s massively hash on harts

Carlton have no tall forward line hence Hartley ommision. They have casboult & weitering forward.

I think Jake Brady is right. No 2 metre tall forwards= No job for Harts.

Suspect Dea will play 2nd tall def if it’s wet.

Agreed. Plus we have Hooker that can drop back as a stop gap measure.

Welcome back Budddha.

I hope Rhys Palmer plays. Pretty please

I feel sorry for Harts, but am rapt that Hocking has been named in the starting side. He was the first to sign back up & deserves his chance to pull on the red & black again.

They have Harry McKay in the squad. 200cm potential debutant, increased his chances with no Hartley.

It is one thing to not name Harts on the field, but to be not even named, must really want to improve the mobility of the backline.

Extended bench obviously but fogs boy McKay is named on it. Don’t think he will play. Brown won’t play either I don’t think. Im comfortable with ambrose and hurley there for structural reasons

Edit- didn’t realise Brown was named on field!

Pretty rare that a player named on the field is left out though
