Norf have brought in Daws? I reckon they are going way too tall. We have picked a pretty mobile side. I legit think we are a chance this week. We just need to run them off their feet. And Loony has to at least break even in the middle

It’s the dawn of a new era.
Jerrett unlucky, especially with Polkinghorn keeping his spot. Polky wasn’t exactly bashing the door down for senior selection to begin with and he hasn’t had more than 12 touches in both games (and has only managed a combined total of theee marks and three tackles).
In situations like this, I think we should be giving preference to players who were already on the list if it’s a 50/50 call. Hopefully Jerrett/Marty/Edwards force their way back into the side soon by backing up their solid performances in the VFL last weekend.
Sucks to lose Dempsey as well - they certainly kept his hammy injury under wraps, unless he just pinged it at training in the last day or so.
Other than that, it’ll be great to have Parish & Langford back after a week’s rest and I’m looking forward to seeing how Irish goes again as well. Hopefully Redman shows a few more glimpses, too.

Mediums defenders like Gwilt are liable to be exploited by Petrie and Sideshow Bob and Daw. Waite’s not tiny, either.
Unless Brown goes back or Michael comes in, we’re short at least one legit tall defender.
Both of the VFL teams play on Sunday (not against each other) so there will be no easy tells.
