HOT TAKES

First saw Will Ferrell in Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back. Had no idea who he was, but didn’t find him all that funny, and my opinion hasn’t really changed since.

I don’t think Vince Vaughn, while he’s acted in some comedies, is necessarily a comedic actor. He’s done plenty of other genres, and done some of them well.

Adam Sandler for mine. Can’t stand him.

Tony Scott is better than Ridley Scott

Ridley Scott’s career went down the gurgler when he missed out on being the designer for the second story of Doctor Who in 1963… titled The Daleks.

All hail Ray Cusick, instead, who took a ~30 word description and made something the author had no real vision of.

Except for The Wedding Singer

You need to start drinking coffee.

I’ve been irritated by Adam Sandler since, well, pretty much the first time I ever saw him.

He’s not especially, but he’s had some decent roles.

Talladega Nights is great and his turn as Ashley Schaeffer in Eastbound and Down is awesome.

Yeah, he’s done some very funny stuff. It’s a hot take. He’s also a better dramatic actor than Denzel Washington…

offft not as bold a claim as it once would’ve been

I saw Gladiator II.

Brad Scott is better than Ridley Scott.

Actually I reckon Ridley Scott could coach a footy team better than Bradley. I reckon my Labrador could.

They certainly both suck at character development.

Personally I loved the sharks in the colosseum.

Quite possibly, but when it comes to films, Ridley Scott is better than Todd Ridley

But when it comes to delivering us Matthew Lloyd and Scott Lucas, Todd Ridley is Delaney tier.

Never watched it, but that’s an all star cast. Alanis Morissette plays God? I’m going to have to check this out.
