The first 5 episodes were clearly just the background info. I’m assuming where we are now is where he real story takes place.

I honestly don’t know how Dragons progresses from here and stays canon.
It’s going to take some ridiculous changes of character from all sides.
And if you’re going to thumb your nose at canon, then you could at least remake it fun or thrilling.
isnt “cannon” the heavily biased writings of a maester, put to paper a couple of hundred years later?

Haven’t read the books but I believe there has been quite a few changes. I thought the last two episodes were great
i reckon the writing is just amateur, its bullshit and has no regard for fantasy settings.
Deserves another season, liked some of it, found some of it stupid. CGI was sometimes just Doom original game bad, then some really sophisticated stuff. Curious. I’m glad they’re making big fantasy, I don’t want it to go away.
