Now that the forward lineâs fixed, Iâm going hijack this now defunct thread to post a really dumb thing I havenât been able to get out of my head since I heard Green referred to as âCorgiâ. Sorry in advance.
(welsh corgi, scottish deerhound, irish setter, italian greyhound, staffie, great dane).
Iâm pretty sure Daniher owns a deerhound, or similar breed.

Daniher 26 goals on track for 60 (already eclipsed Monfries 24 goal season in 2010)
Fantasia 22 goals on track for 40-50+
Hooker 16 Goals
Tippa 13 goals
all these guys look going 20+ goals pretty early.
then potentially add Green (8) who averages 1.1 goals a game.
And if stewart plays out the year then he sould get up there as well.
things are looking good.
If theres any thing that needs fixing its around Green.
Either fix up his chest marks so he can kick 4 goals a game, or stop playing him as a goal square forward against an opposition tall.
Yeh. I know he can take speccies 1 ft off the ground

Wooshaâs first day at the club as head coach, talking to Dodorro.
Woosha: hey, Adrian I like the look of this list of players. But who are our small forwards?
Doddoro: ummm. what?
Woosha: well small forwards are an integral part of the game. They provide speed, forward pressure, goals, breaking the lines, and crumbing.
Doddoro: well we donât really think small forwards serve a purpose. Itâs just a position to rest our midfielders. Or get game time into our young players who we think could play midfield in the future.
Woosha: so we donât have one?
Doddoro: well we have a young bloke Fantasia. Who we think will become a genuine wing/hbf who has played his junior footy up forward.
Woosha: no one else?
Doddoro: Weâve got a bloke in the VFL, who the supporters have been pestering me about for years. It p*ss me off, I get hounded every time I do my groceries. We could grab him as a rookie, just as long as the Bulldogs donât get him first.
Woosha: so thatâs it? And you wonder why you havenât been able to score goals for the last 6 yearsâŚ
