I was gonna run onto the MCG in celebration

I was willing to pay a $9367 fine for it but $9367.60 fine was just too much

If you paid $9367 you would have got $39.40 of change

Does it include GST?

Im sure you could haggle it down to an even 9k

Wonder how they came to that figure?

"The current value of a penalty unit is $155.46 (as at 1 July 2016). For example, if an offence carries two penalty units, the total fine is $311. The value of a penalty unit is set annually by the Department of Treasury and Finance, and is updated on 1 July each year.”

It’s 60 penalty units.

60? That’s a lot of units.

Would probably have killed our momentum and we would have lost to whorethorne.

Glad you didnt.

I’ve got to admit that I’m rather averse to nonentities who want to make themselves the centre of attention when so many others have expended good money to watch people with real talent.

He did say “In Celebration” … that would have to be after the game was won, … no??

And a penalty unit was probably originally set at $5 in 1980 and is increased by a CPI type amount each year.

I remember when it was 2k.

Nude?

All of the kids who used to run up next to the goal umpire and signal a goal in the early 90’s, the AFL would’ve made a packet out of it.

I think you’ll find that 60 units of alcohol at the MCG costs the same amount.
