For reasons unknown ( possibly cash strapped) the ABC has shut down its fact check system which it was doing with RMIT.
Yet most other public broadcasters in democratic countries , together with independent media, continue to report on fake news and AI generated pics.
Sky has a weekly thing called The Media Show. Essentially an extended session of ABC and other non-Murdoch media bashing. As to the regular failings among their own … sorry nothing to see here.

The Seven Network defends, monetarily, war criminals and rapists.
Anyone who relies on them for moral guidance needs a Farking shake-up.

The faux outrage has been about a reception in the National Capital, at Parliament House, one crowded hour. From memory the State Governors will attend, as the representatives of the Crown in the States.

Heaven help us that the UN decrees that Palestinians should have their own sovereign state. Not that this will help much if the current situation in palestine continues.

Kim Williams on a rant about Joe Rogan and his fact free podcasts.
He puts the solution as education and knowledge, more funding to the ABC.
He needs to dig deeper to understand why so many are attracted to Rogan.
the one tick i’ll give rogan is that he for the most part lets the guest steer the conversation as opposed to jimmy kimmels and james cordens of the world who have to keep things short and sanitised
