Injury Updates (Part 1)

You can add Setterfield too
Most of these are 25-29 year olds, which are our senior core which now hurts the depth as they will be replaced with 19- 23 yo.

Younger again this week (we were youngest team last round)

Hard to compete if this continues throughout the year

Cox having a timeline of 4 weeks rather than TBC is encouraging. Hopefully that means his symptoms have subsided and it’s a matter of getting him match fit. If he was still hampered by concussion symptoms I can’t see how they could put a timeline on it like they have. Fingers crossed.

8 weeks??

I thought it was 4-6 weeks!!

Surely we weren’t the youngest of the round. What about the Tiges and the Dees with 6 debutants each?

If it’s true, I’d say it’s because Dees and Tigers had plenty of older blokes play. We had Shiel and Merrett.

Think the extra 2-4 weeks is cause we always understate injuries like this.

Well below AFL avg too

Do we get a mature tall forward in the msd? We wont have to play Draper forward.

Surely that age profile catches up to collingwood in the 2nd half of the year.

Totally embarrassing for Saints.

Any mature tall forward still left on the shelf come MSD has about a 99 in a 100 chance of being somewhere between sh¡t to ‘handy but a bit of a list clogger’

We need to invest properly in a decent key forward. Either by trade/FA or a top 10 draft pick.

No, because Langford and Wright should both be playing again.

Outside class or leg speed. Ideally both but that’s unlikely for a MSD pick (if we even have a spot open).

We did ok in getting Martin and Durham

I was talking about key forwards

Thanks. Fascinating list, 4th least experienced with Freo coming last(!)… wow

What site did you get the info from?

That injury list posted well upthread was a bit inaccurate. Geez.

This looks better.
