Investment advice

Just wait until descendants of the Titanic victims start marching up and down outside your iceberg warehouse. It’ll make the BLM marches look like a stroll in the park.

Probably wrong ice cap?

After thinking about it a bit more, I’ve decided to convert my fleet of icebergs into floating casinos. They’ll float in international waters and will offer high end entertainment without those pesky national regulations and such. Also, cocaine and hookers.

And designer ice-cubes.

Will I find this venture floated on the ASX?

Hate to say it…but it’s just the Tippa the Iceberg.

If you were to put 2k into crypto for a 1-2 year hold, where would you put it?

There is a thread for that.

down to $7.87 today, where is the floor.
10th most shorted stock on asx.

The two ‘lower level’ crypto I own (Harmony and Storj) have gone nuts this past week or so.
I bought $1k of each a few years ago.
Two weeks ago the combined value was $13.5k.
Today, it’s $43k.
Bitcoin and Eth have flattened off in the same time period
Not sure whether I should just cash in on Harmony and Storj yet. Will see where it’s at next weekend.

Markets will become unstable as positions as big as US$26billion are being unwound

Hey, AFR is free at the moment due to their recent hack attack - no paywall until further notice. yay.

They are in scarce supply. Ever shrinking.

Not sure what your going to do with storage @FuriousGeorge , they ain’t exactly liquid.

You could just sell it all off and enjoy the 42k. YOLO.

So what if it does up again, could go down again too, could stay flat, you could get hit by a bus tomorrow!

Although if you end up a crypto millionaire by holding…totallly get it.

Surely crypto is going to be the source of some serious inflation. Must be all those crypto kings and queens buying up Australian property.

I’ll do what I’ve done with shares.
Set a stop loss then sell if it reaches it. If it doesn’t, I’ll adjust my stop loss.
Those two lesser cryptos I do want to sell at some point.

If the total value drops to $40k, I’ll cash it in. I’m basically gambling $5k for the chance it keeps going up.

88e & PRL

Let’s hope they are worthwhile investment unlike my dons membership!

I have some PRL shares

88E have followed, they recently struck oil.

Hey guys, I don’t want to read through the thread just yet…but I’m 30, saving very slowly and am looking to start investing. What advice would you give someone with that limited information straight off the bat?
