Was looking for a thread to discuss the revolving door of Brisbane high draft picks and found this thread still open.
Dorks can GAGF but I think it is pretty low to wish ill on a young kid that can't seem to catch a break. I openly supported the EFC finding a way to get him, but it wasn't to be. In the end, the asking price was clearly too high and therefore we probably did 'dodge a bullet' but...
It isn't JOM fault that the Dorks traded WAAAY too much to get him and it isn't his fault his injuries keep coming and it isn't his fault that Mitchell and Lewis were shown the door (or left or whatever they want to call it).. their trades had more to do with list management in the long term than what JOM was seeking.
Right now.. what we should feel sick about is how much St Kilda got a free kick on this one.. the deal was so lopsided from the beginning and my gut feeling that Dorks would be ■■■■■ this season is proving pretty accurate. It could go down as one of the most unbalanced trades in history and THAT is where the questions need to be asked.
