Could we get away with just pick 24 perhaps as they seem to be desperate now.
Give them the two picks. We want to come out of this driving a hard bargain but also with the impression we were fair.

It involved both our 2018 seconds going to Geelong for their 21&35
We would have 21,24,35 and would offer up a combination of them to the Dogs.
Sounded like originally the Dogs wanted us to do the hard work and convert the picks but sounds like now they are just happy for 2 second rounders.

Browne finished that report by noting that McCartney had to wrestle back control of the decision making and was a real shot at becoming GC footy manager. Sounds like he’s done at the WB. he and Dalrymple haven’t got along for a while. the Stringer debacle may be the final straw.

In each of those scenarios, those deals would be good enough if we weren’t getting anything back. So to get something back would be a big bonus.

So we’ll keep one of the 2 second rounders we have for next year?
That means we will have given up pick 11, 29 and a third next year to get all three! No players gone.

Dogs traded 40 for crozier. But more than happy to get stringer for 2 2nd rounders.

And added a 3rd rounder this year plus whatever the GC pick coming back is (which could be decent given the number of 2nd rounders they have this year.) There is value in them converting one of those into a 2nd rounder next year, even if the pick is exactly the same number.
