I had to laugh at that bit.
I thought Gold Coast had already made it clear that they won’t be paying any of Ablett’s salary if he leaves and in fact if he goes to Geelong they want a player from Geelong and they want Geeling to pay part of that salary.
That’s pretty optimisitc I reckon, but at the very least, I can’t see Gold Coast being interested in any trade where they pay part of Ablett’s salary.
