A known ice addiction is better than an unknown one. At least people are walking into the situation with their eyes open. Get well Jake.

I heard that he’s an Ice dealer, and he specialises in dealing to school children, and orphans. And nuns.

Yeah, well.

Seriously though, have the Stringer drug rumours been around for a while, or just since the Bulldogs decided they didn’t want him?

It does now!

If some of the ■■■■ floating around is even half true then you can’t take him. Full Cousins mode if you believe it.

Interesting that if he is, the dogs being the good family club are just going to cut him loose and dump him on another team rather than help him.

It’s interesting as there has been a fair bit going around about a whole group of them. Story goes Libba, Dalhouse, Boyd, Stringer, Biggs, Dunkley all went full retard over summer and carried it into the season. All have struggled, Boyd needed a break away at a facility mid season to clean himself up. If you believe it then maybe Stringer was already a partier, it tipped him over the edge but doesn’t want to stop.

I’d certainly be having a long chat to the ex before making any serious decision.

If any of it is true I think the Dogs probably had to make an example for the rest of the list

The highest profile player of the rat pack is the one pushed, perhaps with the worst problem also

If it was Dunkley wouldn’t have had same effect

No way do they get our pick 11

Or the one who can’t be saved anyway.

Just give bulldogs pick 11. Get it done in the first hour if trade week

Then offer Rockliff 800k per season for 4 years with an option for a 5th

At least he doesn’t discriminate between kids with and without parents.

Yeah, you don’t sacrifice the most talented of the bunch to make a point.

What’s wrong with that?

Now this is a blitz thread.

The good part about this being aired publicly is the dogs now have to come out and either deny it to get a good value or admit it and get squat.

Essendon
Out - pick 11, 28, Hartley
In - Kennedy, Stringer, pick 25

GWS
Out - pick 23, 25, Kennedy
In - Hartley, pick 11, 28

Dogs
Out - Stringer
In - Pick 23

If this is where he is at…then no, not for our club in my opinion.

Half the league are rumored to be on drugs have we considered for a second that these ones in particular or either untrue or extremely overblown?

I like Rockliff but you don’t sign a 28 year old to 800k for 5 years when the baulk of your developing high level talent come out of contract in the middle of it. 2 years at that money maybe, but no more. Plus 800 is fringe all Australian money.

As for Stringer, yeah I don’t think we should want him anywhere near our club, let alone giving up what is probably the one useful pick we have in the draft this year for him.

Bulldogs would take 11 and run.
