Thats a fair point.
Id prefer we bring in someone new, but I do believe Hird is a better coach than Scott.
Do you think he’s the first one to try? The mere act of ‘trying’ is not anything special.
It should also be noted that Hird tried to change the club too. Didn’t go so well.

Do you agree if Essendon is forced to trade Merrett then Brad will be forced to go?
Martin and Redman senior players in the leadership group just backed brad and the clubs direction everyone seems to be on board and you want to fark up by brining Hird back

There is absolutely nothing going for our current coach. Nothing.
Our captain and Easily best player getting sick of this garbage isn’t an outlier.
Should be replacing Barham - not the coach - and clean out the useless Board.
Too much potential drama, blowback and heartache with Hird back as coach
We kinda do players that are all in with brad which is majoirty of the list will.jump ship if they sacked him

You can’t sack the board, in part for hiring the coach, and then keep the coach.

We’re stuck with George - even though I’d be getting rid of him. Just think a better long term role for Hird is as President - in a couple of years when the Barham Scott era is terminated.
He could be there for 20 years
