There is no prescription in those lenses.

He’s an empty vessel, hipster throwback ■■■■.

(Which they will)

Well having mates in the media this time will help him and being close to Eddie now will help. I just wish he actually took coaching seriously and threw himself into an assistants role for once. The comparison to Fagan is strange he had more experience than just about anyone and did all the hard yards and under elite coaching regimes too.

I was all in till I saw Tom Morris wanted it.

Morriss’ comments demonstrate what we already knew - anybody who gets to know Hirdy and especially work with him, realise very quickly his integrity, clarity and intellect.
One of the best people ever in football, yet received the worst treatment from the AFL, probably alongside Dean Bailey.

Even Maguire realises it. Always calls him - Coach.

Do we think Hird sticking up for the Merretts is tactical?

Nope, I think it comes from his family’s personal experience during the saga.

How was her post sticking up for her husband?

All she has to do is keep her mouth shut, but her ego got in the way.

The more Hird talks, the more happy I am that he isn’t coach

Agree, that makes zero sense.

Maybe Hird is trying to score brownie points for when he coaches Merrett next year.

The important thing to take from Hird’s comment is that he was sticking up for a woman to make her own decisions.
