Now the media seem to love him. If he returned to coaching I think he’d be treated like the golden boy again. At least for a while.

Can’t see him ever being a senior coach again, he has been out for too long. He could return as a senior assistant, but the only person imo who would be comfortable with that arrangement would be McVeigh and he, i hope, would need to go through a genuine competitive process.
He could end up in a Neil Balme type role. Or somewhere in the administration/board.
Nah, the media love the idea of the stories they’d be able to write if he did come back. They don’t care about the bloke himself.
